CAFFE also offers some practical, vocational training as a further way for students to enhance their employment and earning opportunities.

Cooking

Students learn to prepare and create a range of meals from local cuisine to foreign deishes. Students also learn to budget and plan ingredients for large groups as well as how to work safely and hygienically.

Students learn to repair and make clothes for adults and children with the aim of being able to save money at home and to make money selling clothing.

Carpentry

Students learn to build a variety of products from wood. It can often be cheaper to have items of furniture custom made in Bangladesh than to purchase from a shop so there is a lot of work for those with carpentry skills.
